Matthew 25:35-40

"for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me. Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You? 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me."

About Us

Our History:

Our Neighbor’s House is a ministry born out of the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina which hit the Gulf Coast on August 29th, 2005. After an initial visit in April of 2006 we realized that 8 months after the tragedy the rebuilding process had made many positive steps, but there remained an overwhelming amount of work and little resources available to meet the challenge. Families were still crowded together in FEMA trailers. Homes that had been lifted off of their foundations or those that were obliterated had not been able to be rebuilt, and living conditions were stressful and seemingly hopeless. Overwhelmed by their plight we prayed and God began to stir within us an innovative idea for constructing homes in Maine and shipping them to families in need in the Gulf Coast.

Our Staff

ONH is blessed to be led and directed by Jeff Cucci and his wife Karen. Jeff is minister of the gospel, a master carpenter and builder, and has owned and operated his own business. He and Karen bring a vision of love and restoration with an ability to practically express the compassion of God.
